The Performers

Introducing...

  • Sami Stone

  • Stone came to comedy through storytelling. Her stand up, largely autobiographical with a few social and political observations peppered throughout, leans on little caricatures and sound clips to create funny and thought provoking insights

Sami Stone has been a stand up comedian for over a decade, performing in London, Toronto, Montreal and San Francisco. She is the resident compére at Laughtermarket at The Old Market Theatre in Brighton UK, and is also the founder and resident compére at Comedy Sans Frontieres - a regular fundraising event for Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) at the Ropetackle Arts Centre, Shoreham UK - both in their fourth year.

Stone has shared comedy bills with the likes of Frankie Boyle, Josie Long, Sara Pascoe, Zoe Lyons, Romesh Ranganathan, Nick Helm, Katherine Ryan, Marcus Brigstocke, Simon Munnery, Robin Ince and Omid Djalili.

Stone has worked in the arts consistently throughout her life always supplementing it with waitressing, dog-walking and being a ghost. ( Arundel 'ghost tours')
