Rose Kimberley

Friday 31st May 15.45 - 16.30 BBC Introducing Stage

Born in Cornwall in 1985, Rose discovered her love for music and singing at aged 13. Performing and writing since 16, she then went on to become a successful session singer alongside working on her own original projects.

Rose is now fast becoming as known for her songwriting as for her vocal abilities. Moving in a ‘Tripop’ direction, her latest work has been likened to Zero 7, Morcheeba and London Grammar. With a warm and powerful tone, Rose has a distinctive sound and is complimented for her emotional delivery. A BBC Introducing artist, she has regular exposure on BBC radio and BBC Introducing gigs and was a featured ‘Artist of the Week’ on the Georgey Spanswick show in 2017.
In 2018 Rose secured a publishing deal with Integrity Records.
With her vocal skill and a love and ability for harmonies, Rose is a sought after session singer. Previous work includes live (national and international) backing vocalist work for renowned artists, studio recording (demos for pitches, lead guest vocals, backing vocals etc.) and writing. Credits include: LIVVIA (Megan Trainor’s supporting
artist, European tour and Lindsay Stirling USA tour) Peter Cox (Go West), Sam Brown (Stop!), and ERIKA (Skunk Anansie).
